Derrion ‘DMuney’ Childs, a 21 year-old Memphis comedian, was fatally shot at a Valero gas station a few days following the killing of rapper Young Dolph in Memphis.
Sources say DMuney posted unpleasant comments on Facebook after Young Dolph died.
“MANEEEEE THEM FOLKS JUST KILLED YOUNG DOLPH. I LOVE MEMPHIS CUH WE SO GANSTA,” the comedian wrote, adding laughing emojis on the now-deleted post.
A different post read, “MANE CUHH IF YEEN AINT FROM MEMPHIS OR IF YEEN THE POLICE JUST QUIT TRYNA SOLVE YOUNG DOLPH MURDER. THESE FOLKS DONE CAME & LOCKED MY GMA UP.”
Memphis police responded to a shooting call on November 23. DMUNEY was one person who was found, a woman had non-life threatening injuries, and a man wasn’t harmed.
Many people are presuming that DMuney was killed because of his jokes about Young Dolph.
A day after Young Dolph’s killing, on November 17, DMuney posted, “If the news don’t post me as a Memphis legend when I die then they HATEDDDDD.”
Both murder investigations continue.
