A man was fatally shot inside a Family Dollar in Dallas Thursday evening.
Around 5:30 p.m. officers responded to a shooting call on the 1900 block of E. Ledbetter Drive. Upon arrival they found 46 year old Tenery Walker inside the back of the store suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
During the investigation detectives believe Walker was confronted by an unknown male suspect that he previously asked to leave the store. The unknown male then opened fire striking Walker.
He then fled the scene before officers arrived. This investigation is ongoing.
