Dallas Man Arrested After Stealing Alcoholic Beverages, Injuring Officers and Leading Sulphur Spring Police on High Speed Chase
On January 22 around 4:47pm Sulphur Spring officers were dispatched to a grocery store for theft.
Once officers arrived they learned that the suspect, Xzavier Antjuane Bolden,27 had fled the scene with a cart full of alcoholic beverages.
Officers attempted to stop Bolden in the parking lot but he let go of the cart and started running. He got into a black Lexus suv.
Officers approached the vehicle on the driver and passenger side. One officer was injured when the suspect opened the door and the other two were injured as the suspect fled the scene.
He then led officers on a high speed chase before crashing into a tree. Bolden then got out of the vehicle and ran towards a wooded area.
The landowner called police and said that his son spotted a strange man in a pond on their property.
Officers arrived to the scene and arrested Bolden without incident. He was charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, two counts of possession of 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal mischief for the property damage.
His bond is set at $1,769 and he also has a warrant out of Dallas County for disorderly conduct/displaying a firearm charge. His bond for that is set at $2,000
