A 51 year old man was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Dallas business Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 2:48pm on the 3400 S. Malcolm X Boulevard.
Upon arrival they found the victim, James Arthur Davis,51 lying in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
During the investigation, officers learned that Kerry Lamont Webb,51 was responsible for the fatal shooting.
Webb was arrested and charged with murder.
He is currently in Dallas County jail.
