Investigators have made a second arrest for the murder of James Faith, who was an American Airlines executive.
James Faith was out for a walk with his wife, Jennifer Faith, when he was gunned down in North Oak Cliff on Oct. 9, 2020.

Jennifer was arrested and taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and was booked in the Dallas County Jail.
During a news interview after the murder, Jennifer made a plea to the public to help track down the person responsible for her husband’s murder. Making police officials along with the public believe that she was a grieving widow.
“Oh my God! If you know what happened, I need that closure,” she said during the interview. “I need to make sense out of this.” “It’s been horrible, devastating. I teeter between being heartbroken and completely devastated. Everyday has been awful,” she said.
In the early part of January, Darrin Lopez, an ex of Jennifer’s, was apprehended in Tennessee and taken into custody. Police are saying he allegedly drove to Texas to murder James.

According to Investigators, Jennifer told police initially that she was unable to identify the shooter because they were wearing a mask and hood.
She also claimed that the suspect also attacked her, duct taping her hands and struck her while she was laying on the ground.
She made pleaded to the public several times to help find the murderer of her husband of 15 years.
Investigators however discovered that she was having a “full-blown emotional affair” with her ex, Darrin Lopez.
Investigators also discovered there were more than 14,000 calls and texts between one another in one month, also revealing how they had a 5-year plan on how they could be together.
The day James had been gunned down, the communication between the two stopped, starting again 9 hours after the murder.
Investigators say Lopez drove from Tennessee where he lived to Texas and waited for the perfect time, resulting in shooting James a total of 7 times during the morning hours of Oct. 9th.
Police were able to track him back down in Tennessee in January where he was then arrested and charged with the murder and a federal weapons charge.
