Dallas police are investigating a fight that turned deadly early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call that happens we shortly after 12 a.m. Thursday on the 100 block of S. Nachita Drive.
Upon their arrival they found a 29 year old male who appeared to be unresponsive from a gunshot wound. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
During the investigation witnesses told officers that a fight had broke out between the victim and an unknown suspect. The suspect pulled out a weapon and opened fire striking the victim.
The suspect then fled the scene before officers could arrived.
At this time detectives are investigating the motive and circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
