Daughter Charged With First Degree Attempted Murder After Shooting Her Mom

A 22 year old Tennessee woman has been arrested and charged with first degree attempted murder after she confessed to shooting her mother Tuesday night.
According to reports officers responded to a shooting call on the 4600 block of Orange Tulip Dr and when they arrived they found Tanesha Boyd suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Jones posted several post on Facebook less than 5 hours after her moms shooting expressing her love and thanking God for saving her and said a man broke into their home trying to kill her mother.
Later that week after talking to other siblings in the home Alexcia Jones,22 was taken into custody where she confessed to shooting her mother.
Jones has been charged with first degree attempted murder and is facing several other felony charges.
