Leila Al Raheel has been named as the 41-year-old woman who was discovered dead on a kitchen floor in her residence, in Philadelphia. The woman had been decapitated.
Neighbors stated that a male suspect attempted to leave the scene in his vehicle but was apprehended.
34-year-old Ahmad Shareef has been identified as the suspect.
It has been reported that the victim was Shareef’s mate, and there was a history of domestic problems with family members. The couple is said to have resided with many other relatives, including children.
Shareef is facing charges of murder, abuse of a corpse, and other offenses.
Police say that a knife was found at the location.
An investigation is on-going.
