On Sunday, April 3, Dallas police responded to a call regarding a deceased body in an alleyway.
Officers responded to the call around 9:18 a.m. on the 1300 block of Kings Highway.
When Dallas Fire Rescue arrived they located the body and noticed the male victim had been burned.
No identification was located at the scene. Dallas County Medical Examiners are working to positively identify the victim.
The Dallas Police Homicide Unit, Dallas Fire Arson Unit and Crime Scene Response processed the scene. This investigation is ongoing.
Police said the victim was wearing boots, jeans, a dress shirt, and a wedding ring on his left hand.
