A newborn baby was found deceased inside a flower pot at a cemetery in Carrollton.
According to Carrollton police a caretaker for the Perry Cemetery spotted an out of place flower pot on the property grounds.
When he went to move it he noticed a newborn baby girl with an umbilical cord still connected to her buried in the soil. 
They believe the newborn was placed on the property between February 27 and March 2.
Medical Examiners have not yet determined the cause of death.
Detectives are investigating and asking anyone with information about this case to contact Carrollton pd.
