Dallas police are investigating after recovering a deceased body from the water near Dowdy Ferry Rd and LBJ Freeway Sunday.
Officers were called out for a water rescue early Friday morning after a man went missing in the Trinity River.
DFR and and Air-1 searches for the body but were unable to locate the missing person Friday and resumed Saturday evening after some fishermen reported an unconscious man body floating in the water.
Rescuers were able to receive the body and investigators are waiting for Dallas County Medical Examiner to perform an autopsy.
This investigation is ongoing.
