Three children were shot outside of a Fort Worth home during a drive-by shooting Sunday afternoon.

Fort Worth Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the 8500 block of Steel Dust Trail on Sunday at 2:14 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found an 18-month-old, 5-year-old and 17-year-old boy all suffering from gunshot wounds. The baby was shot in the leg and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. However, the 17 and 5-year-old were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine a motive but say there was an unknown amount of suspects in a vehicle that drove by and opened fire.

Roughly two dozen shell casings were located at the scene.

No suspects have been arrested at this time.
