The popular dj on Ellen Degeneres’ talk show, Stephen “twitch” Boss, has died by suicide.
Authorities say that Allison Holker, Stephen’s wife, went into the LAPD station on Tuesday. She had been worried because Stephen had exited the home without his vehicle which was unlike him.
A little after that, at around 11:15 a.m., first responders received a call regarding a medical issue at a hotel in L.A. There, they discovered Stephen deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot injury.
In 2014, Stephen started DJing on Ellen’s show and remained until the show ended in 2022. In 2020, he became an executive producer on the show.
Stephen first became popular in 2008 when he was a runner-up on “So You Think You Can Dance?” He also played a role in the ‘Step Up’ movie franchise and “Magic Mike XXL.” Additionally, Stephen hosted many reality shows, including one he hosted with his wife, “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings,” on Disney+.
On Saturday, Stephen and Allison had just celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary.
Besides his wife, he also leaves behind 3 children.
