A Tarrant County judge has allowed Ethan Couch to remove his ankle monitor.
Ethan Couch was arrested back in 2013 when he was drunk driving and ran over and killed 4 people in Ft. Worth.
He then was placed on probation and given an ankle monitor as well as other conditions such as drug testing and curfew.
Couch was also arrested when he violated his probation and fled to Mexico with his mother Tonya Couch.
He is now 21 and has been granted access by a Tarrant County judge to remove his ankle monitor. 
District Attorney’s office says they were unaware of the judges decision to remove his monitor.
