A Jersey motorist had a fatal accident on Thursday, the driver had crashed head first into a pole after passing out from wearing a N95 mask for several hours on the road.
Officers say that the N95 might have caused the driver to experience “insufficient oxygen intake/excessive carbon dioxide intake,” but they are not certain that crash was one hundred percent the mask fault.
Health Officials have urged many to leave the N95 mask for healthcare workers on the frontlines to fight the pandemic. And that there are many other masks for us to choose from, even though it is still safe to wear the N95 mask officials ask that you don’t wear them alone in a car.
