DPD has had eight officers test positive for COVID-19 so far and one of the officers were able to come back to work after making a full recovery.
Johnny Walker is a motorcycle officer and says he started feeling sick a couple of weeks ago and says he made a full recovery by the time the positive results came back.
Walker came back to work Wednesday and he is the first DPD Officer to make a full recovery and return to work.
Although he said he doesn’t know where he contracted the virus from but his main goal was to make sure he didn’t infect anyone else while being on the road.
