Five Children And One Adult Killed During Shooting In Oklahoma


Six people were murdered early Tuesday at a home in Oklahoma. Among those killed, five young children were included. There were all found shot to death. A person is suspected in the murders was taken into custody without incident, according to the police.
Police were dispatched to the home around 1:30am to a report of multiple people being gunned down at a house in Muskogee, 45 miles southeast of Tulsa, investigators said in a press release.
After officers arrived at the scene, they encountered a person armed with a gun who was later arrested. Investigators at the scene discovered one man and four children murdered, a fifth child died at a hospital in Tulsa, according to officers.
Lynn Hamlin, a police officer f the Muskogee Police Department described the slain youths as “small children”, but their ages has yet to be verified. She confirmed they do not quite yet have a motive and do not believe any other suspects are involved in the case.
“We do not believe that it’s random, but we just don’t have the details yet as to why or what happened,” Hamlin said.
Another female victim had been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Hamlin added.
Authorities have not released any details of the suspect or arrested or any further details on the individuals who had been killed.
