Five men were acquitted of rape because their 14 year old woman was unconscious at the time.
A Barcelona court ruled Thursday to charge the men with a lesser crime of sexual abuse and sentenced them to jail for 10-12 years and a $12,000(euros) fine.
The ruling was based in the fact that their act could not be considered sexual assault since the girl had been drinking and doing drugs before she became unconscious, and that is a requirement for rape conviction in Spain.
