Florida Teen Sentenced To 45 Years After Murdering His Mom During Argument About His Grades

A Florida teenager was sentenced to 45 years years behind bars Friday after pleading guilty to the murder of his mother.
According to reports Gregory Ramos was 15 when he and his mother got into an argument over his grades.
Ramos then strangled his mother, put her in a wheelbarrow, pushed it outside and loaded it in the family van.
He then called his friends and had them come help stage a burglary at the home.
Investigators say Ramos confessed to strangling his mother with his bare hands and they believe it took about 30 minutes.
Last month, in December he admitted to first degree murder, tampering with evidence and abuse of a dead body.
During the hearing Friday the judge said Ramos case would be reviewed in 25 years and that he would spend the rest of his life on probation if he ever was released.
Two of Ramos friends were also charged with accessory after the fact to first degree murder.
Even though they were not present when Ramos killed his mother, they were accused of helping in his attempt to cover up the crime.
