A Florida mother was fatally shot by a toddler while on a video call Wednesday.
According to reports Altamonte Springs police received a 911 call Wednesday from another caller that says they were on a video call with Shamaya Lynn,21.
At the time the caller said they saw a toddler in the background, heard a loud bang and then saw Lynn fall back.
When officers arrived to the home they found the woman, who was identified as the toddlers mother deceased with a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators say the handgun belonged to the toddlers father and determined that the injury was caused by a toddler who found a loaded handgun, which was left unsecured by an adult in the apartment.
