Former Dallas Cowboy Arrested For Public Intoxication

A former Dallas Cowboy player was arrested in a Wendy’s parking lot for resisting arrest and public intoxication Sunday.
According to reports Coppell police were called out to do a welfare check on a man that was seen outside sitting in the grass talking to himself.
When officers arrived they spotted Josh Brent,31 in the grass with no shirt or shoes on and when they tried to approach him he became uncooperative.
Brent had to be tased by an officer before being arrested and taken into custody.
He was booked into Carrollton jail and charged with public intoxication, assault against a public servant and resisting arrest.
