Justice has been served for the Black Protestors who were lied on by a New York shop owner.
David Elmendorf is the former owner of Bumpy’s Polar Freeze in Schenectady, New York.
He is required to pay $500 to each protestor, totaling $4500.
Elmendorf allegedly claimed 20 protestors were armed and threatened to shoot him.
As a result, five police cars showed up, however no arrests were  made.
Attorney General Letitia James filled the lawsuit back in March.
The lawsuit states that Elmendorf violated state laws.
He made multiple armed threats, including death threats using derogatory racist language.
This was all against the peaceful black protestors.
In addition to the payments, Elmendorf has been banned from making threats to anyone else based on their race.
He is barred from wielding weapons within 1000 feet of any peaceful protestors.
In an official statement released by the office of James, “police calls based on false racial claims will be held accountable under the law.”
