Four People Arrested By Irving PD For Selling Drugs To High School Students

Irving PD announced the arrest of four people for selling drugs and weapons to Irving high school students through various social media apps.
The investigation began in 2020 after Irving PD Narcotics units received numerous calls regarding drug and weapons being advertised on social media.
Narcotics Units conducted 14 undercover buys of cocaine, methamphetamine, LSD, THC, and other drugs. They also discussed the purchase of a weapon.

The leader, Ricardo Rosas Garcia,24, plead guilty to Conspiracy With Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
He was sentenced to 19 years in Federal Prison.
Ricardo had at least 3 co-conspirators who also pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Possess Controlled Substances With Intent to Distribute.
Anthony Isaac Ventura, 20, was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison.
Addiel Isaias Portillo, 25, was sentenced to 36 months in federal prison.
Uziel Hernandez, 26, is scheduled to be sentenced on October 28.
They also employed several underage teens to help distribute narcotics.
