5-year-old, Oakley Carlson of Washington, was last seen in February.

At the beginning of this month, a witness contacted authorities with concerns. After conducting a visit to the child’s residence, the parents, Jordan Bowers, 32, and Andrew Carlson, 36, were arrested.

At first, the couple was taken into custody because they wouldn’t cooperate with police. Now, they are facing second-degree abandonment charges.

Authorities have stated that the parents weren’t able to tell them where Oakley is or what may have happened to her.

Police believe that the little girl is in danger and are extremely suspicious about her having gone missing.

A witness happened to hear Oakley’s 6-year-old sister stating that Oakley was “no more,” during a slumber party.

When detectives questioned the little girl, later on, she said that “her mother, Jordan, told her not to discuss Oakley.” She also told her that “Oakley had gone into the woods and had been eaten by wolves,” documents say.
