Paul Pierson, 76, and Henry Valdez, 46, were bound with tape. They were found dead in the bed of a truck on a golf course near Atlanta over the July 4 weekend. 46 year-old old golf pro Gene Siller was also located near the truck.

Authorities had suspected, Bryan Rhoden,  23, hours after the killings but hadn’t had the proper evidence. He was arrested on unrelated charges but bonded out Tuesday.

After being arrested on Thursday, he faces charges of 3 counts of murder and aggravated assault. He will also be charged with two counts of kidnapping.

Police said no motive is clear. Siller might have been killed because he was a witness to a crime.

Rhoden was involved in a shootout five years ago over a drug deal. He shot a man three times in the chest, and he was shot. Both men survived. He was apprehended and let out on bond three days later.
