Homeless Man Fatally Shot In Dallas; Suspect Remains At Large

Dallas police are investigating after a homeless man was shot multiple times by another homeless man late Thursday night.

Officers responded to a shooting call on the 3000 block of Floyd Street around 11:50pm.

Upon arrival officers found an unknown male laying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

During the investigation witnesses told officers that an unknown white male walked up to the victim and shot him three times in the chest.

The witnesses told officers that the suspect didn’t say anything to the victim before shooting him.

They said the suspect fled the scene and they followed him for a few blocks before losing him in an alleyway.

Authorities are working with local homeless shelters to try to identify the suspect.

This investigation is ongoing.
