Houston Man Arrested After Driving To Arlington And Killing The Wrong Person

A Houston man has been arrested after he drove to Arlington Tx to kill a man but killed the wrong person early Monday morning.
According to reports Kendell Jerrell Morris,22 got into an altercation with a man he had never seen or met before and drove to Arlington where he thought the man may be.
When he arrived to an apartment complex on the 300 block of Bardin St he saw a black male with dreadlocks opened fire and fled the scene.
Morris was later arrested in Madisonville, Tx by a state trooper.
The trooper recovered an AR-15 rifle inside the vehicle.
He has been arrested and awaiting extradition back to Tarrant County where he will be charged with murder.
Officers later identified the victim as Robert Cooley,24.
This shooting investigation is ongoing.
