Husband Shot By Wife’s Lover Who Secretly Was Living In The Couple’s Home

Authorities are investigating after an Alabama man was shot inside his home by his wife’s lover.
The incident happened on August 15 around 9pm when officers were called to a home on Skidmore Rd.
Apparently Tracy Reeves told her husband there was an intruder inside their home.
Her husband Frank Reeves went to check and was involved in a shootout with the intruder.
Reeves was shot in the chest and Amacker in the leg.
Police later learned that his wife in fact knew the intruder.
He was later identified as her lover, Michael Amacker for over a year that she secretly had living in the house.
Amacker was arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of controlled substance, possession of fire arm with altered serial number.
The husband is expected to survive.
The wife was later arrested on drug possession charges.
