Indiana Woman Kills Husband And Ask Her Kids To Help Dispose Of The Body

An Indiana woman is in custody for killing her husband and asking her children to help dispose of his body.

The incident happened on July 27 on the 1400 block of W. 18th St.

According to reports Thessalonica Allen,34 got into an argument that turned physical with her husband Randy Allen.

During that time Thessalonica grabbed a handgun and shot her husband.

The children said they heard a loud bang and ran into their mothers bedroom to see what was going on.

Randy then asked the children to call 911 but their mother told them to go back to their rooms.

The children told police that they were awakened in the middle of the night by their mother to help dispose of the body.

The body was too heavy for the mother and young children to move.

The children told police the next day their mother came home with cleaning supplies and an axe. She later asked the children to help place the body into a tote.

After they were unable to move the body Thessalonica allegedly called and asked her child’s father to help place the body in a vehicle. He refused.

Authorities eventually located Thessalonica in the parking lot of a LaPorte Ace Hardware store.

She broke down and told authorities that her husband repeatedly beat her.

They were able to locate and recover Randy’s body inside her daughters closet.

An autopsy performed on Randy showed he sustained a gunshot wound to the right arm that entered his chest and abdomen.

The shot entered his spinal cord area, which doctors said most likely left him unable to move as he bled to death.

Thessalonica was arrested and charged with murder, abusing a corpse, altering a death scene, neglect and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of children.

She remains in LaPorte County Jail with no bond.
