Irving PD Arrest A Couple On Capital Murder Charges In Connection To The Death Of 8 Year Old Son
Irving PD arrested a mother and her boyfriend on capital murder charges in connection to the death of her 8 year old son.
Officers responded to a call on the 100 block of W. State Highway 183 at the Magnuson Hotel on January 8.
Upon arrival officers located Delmor Best-Curtis,8 lying across the bed unconscious.
Officers immediately began cpr and noticed multiple injuries to Delmor.
He was transported to Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Although the investigation is still in its early stages officers determined that Codie McCrory,29 and Leslie Curtis,30 had been physically abusing Delmor for at least 10 days.
The mother and boyfriend moved in the hotel with Delmor in November and he was not enrolled in school.
The investigation remains ongoing.
