A man trying to rob a Jack In The Box shot an employee that refused to give him cash early Wednesday morning. 
According to police an employee at the Jack In The Box on the 600 block of Camp Wisdom was shot by a man who climbed into the drive thru window demanding money.
When the employee refused to give the suspect money he pulled out a gun and shot him before fleeing the scene. 
The employee was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition with non life threatening injuries.
The robbery is under investigation.
