Dallas police are investigating after a juvenile girl was shot at a Red Roof Inn motel early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 13600 block of N. Central Expressway, shortly after midnight. When they arrived to the scene they found a juvenile girl suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
She was transported to an area hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.
While investigating officers learned that the victim and suspect had gotten into an argument and the victim had tried to close the motel room door. The suspect then shot the victim in her legs before fleeing the scene.
It is unclear if the officers have identified the shooting suspect. This investigation remains ongoing.
