A Kaufman ISD teacher was arrested Thursday afternoon after threatening to shoot and kill another co worker.
According to reports, on May 3, Wendy Dawson, 58 threatened to go to her vehicle, get a gun and shoot another teacher.
Other district employees were in the room at the time of the threat.
School Authorities were contacted and when they arrived they located Dawson and asked to search her vehicle.
While searching officers found a Taurus Spectrum .380 caliber pistol inside the middle console of her car. A bullet was found in the chamber.
Kaufman ISD is leading the investigation and
requested an arrest warrant.
On May 5 Dawson was arrested and charged with terroristic threat against a public servant while at work.
