A Little Elm man is in custody after he sexually assaulted a woman early Wednesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to a sexual assault call around 4:44am on the 1100 block of Cleveland St by a person who says the victim approached them asking for help.
Upon arrival officers learned a female victim had been sexually assaulted, beaten, strangled and threatened by a male suspect.
She was transported to an area hospital in stable condition by paramedics.
During the investigation officers learned that Gadiel Alejandro Davila-Perez,21 of Little Elm was responsible for the attack.
He was later arrested and taken into custody.
He is being held in the city of Denton jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
