At least three people are confirmed dead after a massive pile up of more than 100 vehicles in a massive ice-related accident Thursday morning on Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, according to police.
The massive accident completely shutdown both sides of traffic on I-35 near Northside Drive, just north of Downtown.
Fort Worth Fire Officials have said there were countless injuries due to several collisions and first responders are combing through the scene to check on individuals in each vehicle.
Officials report that there are several 18-wheelers among vehicles that were caught up in the wreckage.
There timeframe is undetermined for when the interstate will be back functioning at this time.
