After an investigation, authorities in Douglas County, Georgia, have learned that a man killed his father.
Around 12 p.m., on April 30, deputies were called to a residence on the 1400 block of Fall Creek Trace. It was in regards to calls about a body.
Earl Kyler, 58, was found fatally shot inside of his residence.
While looking into the matter, authorities say that 22-year-old Javon Kyler, Earl’s son, was named as the suspect in the incident.
On Saturday evening, Kyler turned himself in to officials after relatives informed him that detectives were searching for him.
Kyler is now being held at the Douglas County Jail and faces charges of murder, aggravated stalking, and aggravated assault.
A motive for the killing is unknown.
