A 22 year old Michigan man is accused of fatally shooting his mother on Thanksgiving night.
A man allegedly was riding with his 52 year old mother on Woodward under the 696 overpass. During this time the 22 year old man allegedly shot his mother in the head causing them to crash.
The son fled the scene on foot before officers could arrive. While fleeing the scene the suspect shot at three vehicles including a woman in her thigh.
The woman was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The suspect was quickly arrested with the weapon. He is facing multiple charges including murder.
