Man Arrested After Kidnapping 4 Month Old Baby And Leading Police On Chase Into Garland

Rowlett police arrested a man they say kidnapped his son and led police on a chase from Rowlett that ended with a crash in Garland Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a kidnapping call in Rowlett and when they arrived they were told that the biological father took his four month old baby but doesn’t have custody of the infant.
When police located the vehicle the driver refused to stop and led police on a chase down into Garland that ended in a crash at Hwy 66 and Centerville Rd.
The child was found unharmed inside the vehicle and the father was arrested and taken into custody.
The suspect also had an active warrant for his arrest in Rowlett for Robbery.
This investigation is ongoing.
