Man Arrested After Stealing More Than $1300 Worth Of Toothbrushes From Walgreens


A man from Monroe County, Florida, was apprehended after he stole more than a thousand dollars worth of electric toothbrushes from a Walgreens on Monday.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived to the store after a man was busted walking inside of the store, taking $1,375 worth of the electric toothbrushes, and left the store without paying.

The workers saw the man get into his white Lexus and leave the vicinity.

Deputies located the car but didn’t pull over or approach the driver until he was about 20 miles away from the store.

The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Tracy Jay Mofield.

Mofield confessed to stealing the products and told authorities that he tossed the stolen goods off of the Long Key Bridge.

He was placed in the Monroe County Jail and charged with grand theft.
