Dallas police arrested a man Sunday in connection to the fatal stabbing of a man downtown.
Eddie Skillern,29 was arrested Sunday after he stabbed a man to death outside of a 7Eleven on the 700 block of Elm and tried to flee the scene.
DART officers arrested Skillern near the DART station on the 800 block of Pacific Avenue.
When Dallas police arrived on the scene DART officers were already rendering aid to the victim whose name has not been released.
He was transported to Central Methodist hospital where he was pronounced dead.
