Man Charged With Murder In Crash That Killed Stepdaughter And Says “She’s Not My Little Girl”

A man is being charged with his stepdaughters murder after she was ejected from the car during a crash.
According to reports Paul Rodriguez,30 was watching his stepdaughter Zyra Longoria,6 Saturday along with her two brothers.

Rodriguez was traveling on the Southwest freeway in Houston while intoxicated.
He was seen swerving in and out of lanes before crashing into a box truck.
Longoria flew out of the vehicle onto the freeway.
Witnesses told authorities that Rodriguez did not stop to check on the little girl when he crashed.
They also said they heard him telling someone that “she was not his little girl.”
Emergency crews arrived and transported the child to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Rodriguez was initially charged with intoxicated assault and DWI with a child under 15 years old.
His charges have now been upgraded to murder and felony driving while intoxicated.
Bond was initially set at $250,000. Rodriguez is to not have contact with his two children and an emergency protection order issued.
