On Wednesday evening, a man is said to have thrown out $200,000 in cash from a speeding vehicle on a highway.
Reports show that the money was his and his families.
On Thursday, people could still be seen trying to collect the money on the sides of Interstate 5 highway, in Eugene, Oregon. This is although officials stated that all the money was gone.
Authorities say that Colin McCarthy, 38, took all of the money out of his family’s shared bank account and let it go all over the highway. They added that they couldn’t get involved in the matter because it was a shared account.
The family is now asking that if anyone has discovered any of the money, to please return it to the Oregon State Police because the family is in need of it.
