Man Dies After Falling Off Balcony During Concert at Citi Field

A man fell off a balcony Friday night at a Dead & Company Concert at Citi Field in New York.
According to the New York Post, the man fell while attempting to perform a body flip.
He fell 30 to 50 feet landing on he balcony below.
NYPD officers arrived at the seen around 9:05 pm.
Officers “observed EMS Personnel attending to a 46-year-old male who was suffering injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position.”
The man’s identity has not been released.
He was rushed to Queens’ New York-Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition.
He succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
A witness told news reporters, “the man was unresponsive and hit the ground head first. There is no way he could have survived.”
The New York Mets released a statement Saturday to CNN:
“We are aware of a tragic incident which sadly resulted in a fatality last night. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to the attendee’s loved ones.”
The Dead & Company band just recently kicked off a 31-date tour earlier this week.
The band featured members such as Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann alongside John Mayer.
