2.1kviews

A physical altercation occurred between two men outside of a McDonald’s, located in Lakeland, Florida.

Last Sunday, a man was apprehended and charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder in relation to the shooting that occurred during the distubance.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they discovered a minivan in the street, right in front of the restaurant.

Inside, they discovered a woman, 28, who had been shot and a male, 34, attempting to come to her aid. The woman was transported to a medical facility with several, serious gunshot injuries. She was listed in stable condition.

Calvin Sousa, the suspect, left the location in a white-colored car. His vehicle was later tracked back to a residence where he was eventually apprehended.

He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and improper exhibit of a firearm.

Bystanders say that Sousa became angry and started honking his horn and screaming while in the drive-thru line. Both males exited their cars, and a physical altercation started. They then got back in their vehicles, and Sousa fired multiple shots into the victims’ vehicle.

The victims’ names haven’t been released at this time, and Sousa is being held without bond.
