A man has been arrested after he shot and killed a man in the Golden Chicken parking lot late Monday night.
Around 11 p.m. officers responded to a shooting call on the 9500 block of C. F. Hawn Freeway. Upon arrival officers located the victim, 22 year old Juan Jose Prado, inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
While investigating officers learned that the suspect, 18 year old Elijah Julius Valles, was responsible for the shooting.
Valles was later arrested and taken into Dallas County Jail for murder.
