Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on C.F. Hawn Freeway early Monday morning.
Just before 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call on the 6000 block of C.F. Hawn Freeway westbound. Upon arrival they found a vehicle crashed at the scene and a man in the driver seat suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the victim, 49 year old Clifton Morris, dead at the scene.
At this time authorities have no suspect(s) in custody.
This investigation remains ongoing.
