Man Fatally Shot On Lamar St In Dallas

Dallas police are investigating a shooting in downtown Dallas, Friday night that left a man dead.
Dallas and DART police responded to a shooting call on the 400 block of N. Lamar St.
Upon arrival they found the victim, Dezra Walker-Johnson,20 suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.
The motive for the shooting is still unclear.
This investigation remains ongoing.
