Around 2:55 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call on the 9100 block of Skillman Street.
Upon their arrival they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.
While investigating officers learned that an unknown male suspect approached the victim, shot him and then took his belongings.
The suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive and remains at large.
This investigation is still ongoing.
