A man was fatally shot in Pleasant Grove early Saturday morning.
Around 2:15 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call at a shopping center on the 4800 block of Military Parkway.
Upon arrival they found the victim, 41 year old Vernon Rivers, in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the head..
He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
