Man Killed During Altercation At Oakcliff Food Mart

A man was shot and killed at an Oakcliff Food Mart on New Year’s Day making it the first homicide in 2020.
The incident happened at the OK Food Mart on Morrell after Kerwin Clemons,35 and Stanley Jemison,55 got into an altercation at the store and Jemison pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
The Clemons was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Jemison fled the scene before officers arrived but wad later arrested and charged with first degree murder.
This investigation is ongoing.
